Q As far as the Down Tour, why did you decide to go on the road with a one man show?
A I had written my autobiography and what came out of that was a lot of stories ended up becoming songs, so I started thinking about that and how to do a different show besides the band show, which is really high energy and pedal to the metal. I wanted something that was more laidback and I could talk to the audience. So a one man show came up. It more of a storyteller show with a lot of humor in it. I can relate directly to the audience. Q It seems as though artistically you in a really good place. Last year you had high profile acting gigs and now there a new album on your horizon. A Yeah, I a very driven person. I still have a lot of energy for my career, and I never wanted to be just the retro show.
